A year full of gratitude

Gratitude is quite the popular word in November. It’s the month we reflect on our blessings, and yearn to celebrate them with our loved ones. And yet, gratitude recurs each and every day in my daily busy schedule.  Not a day goes by without feeling grateful for my family, my health and the immense opportunity to succeed in my ‘dream job’.

What I have obtained professionally, I have a long list of people to be grateful for. Starting with my amazing clients, for trusting me throughout all the steps of selling and or buying their dream home. Taking what can be one of the most stressful events in their lives and reducing that stress and burden is what drives me.  For most people their home is their most valuable asset they own and being a part of that journey with them gives me great joy.

To make my clients’ dream come true I rely on a team of professionals with whom I built long lasting, trustworthy relationships, which translates to flawless results. They help dress up my listings, provide loans for my clients, promote my listings, clean my listings. They are people I can refer out blindly because I know they will take exceptional care of my clients. All are appreciated beyond words.

It’s always a pleasure to remind these people how I enjoy my job thanks to their connections, no matter what time of the year it is. I love to host Client and Professional Appreciation events throughout the year.

I started off the year hosting a luncheon with some of the agents I worked with in 2021.  Held at a local venue it was nice to spread some appreciation with my colleagues.  It was a great way to replenish ourselves and start the year fired up. Last month I got together with past clients for an interactive event, making succulent pumpkins.  It was a treat to bring my clients and their families together for some creative time.  And in the process I was able to support some local businesses by utilizing their shops and services.

Throughout the year I like to host Happy Hour events for my clients.  It’s nice to connect with them and give them a break from their schedule.  And even the pandemic didn’t stop me. Last year, my husband and I hosted a virtual wine tasting event. We delivered to each home 3 wine varietals with chocolate pairing. Domenico Winery’s Sommelier joined us virtually and talked about their local winery, how to pour, swirl, sip and enjoy the wine. With people jumping in and asking questions through the chat, it turned out to be a fun filled lively event leaving everyone feeling happy.

And finally, I end my year with a Vendor Appreciation event.  It’s important for me to stay in touch with professionals I work with and build long lasting, trustworthy relationships. It takes a village and I am grateful for mine.

From my family to yours, wishing you and your loved ones a relaxing Thanksgiving celebration.  May you enjoy a few days of downtime, doing what you love with the people you love.
